It is no wonder really either; with diversification always being fundamental to a company’s success. 8. Challenge your self. Set yourself goals that are just out of reach and outside your comfort zone. If your reach for the impossible you are setting yourself up for a very tough failure. If you stick to what’s easy you’re denying yourself the triumph of achievement and personal growth.

9. Realize some weaknesses.  We are all weak in some ways. We can be well balanced without being great at everything. If you’re analytical, don’t try to make a career as an artist. There are plenty of other areas for self-development and improvement..

10. Never quit. There’s no such thing as being done with self-development and improving your VMDirect coaching skills. You can go on learning, changing and renewing for all of your life and reaping the wonderful benefits in the process.

In short, twitter is a powerful local internet marketing medium when you use it right and even more powerful if you know what programs and systems to use to automate your local internet marketing tweets.

1. Refrain from posting what you are doing right now! Thats right, dont post everything you do, but rather just the things that are of value to others, or things you want others to see. It could be something in the news, or an event that is happening, or an offer you are making – just anything that could benefit someone else and not turn them off. It sounds interesting, but it becomes a little challenging to do when you get excited or angry. So be sure to ask yourself the question does this offer value to my followers”? and only post if the answer is yes.

2. Find popular people with lots of followers and follow them. To do this, you simply search twitter for something that interests you or even better runs in line with you internet marketing promotion. Soon you will find some people that have interesting things to say, and when you click on their user name, twitter will show you a button called follow that lets you follow that person. By following a person, everything they post will go into your personal time line, thats the thing you see when you login to twitter. If you decide you do not wish to follow someone any longer, simply click on their name and then on the unfollow button.

Customize Your Twitter Page:

As an owner of an online marketing company one of the questions I get a lot about email campaign software is how do you maximize deliver-ability to clients and customers. There are several things to consider. The number one step is to confirm that the people who ask for your information have actually asked to be on your list. When marketing by email you should be using a process called confirmed opt-in to send a link to the attempted subscriber when they request information. Before adding the person to your list they must click that unique link and confirm that they are the same person that owns the email address and requested to subscribe.

When requesting website visitors to opt-in ask for their primary email address instead of a free email address like Yahoo or Hotmail. Free emails tend to be throw away accounts and have a shorter lifetime than a primary ISP address.

Always promptly remove undeliverable addresses that bounce when sending email to them. Our email campaign software automatically does this for you but some systems require you do it manually. An address that bounces with a permanent error 2-3 times in a 30 day period should be removed from the list. ISP’s track what percentage of your newsletters bounce and will block them if you attempt to continually deliver messages to closed subscriber mailboxes.

When marketing by email and using HTML messages to allow for text formatting, multiple columns, images, and brand recognition is growing in popularity and is widely supported by most email client software. Most spam is also HTML formatted and thus differentiating between requested email and spam HTML messages can be tough. A 2004 study shows that plain text messages are undeliverable 1.15% of the time and HTML only messages were undeliverable 2.3%. If sending HTML it is important to send a plain text alternative message, also called multi-part mime format.

Many ISP’s filters base conditions on the content that appears within the message text.

Website Link: Research potential newsletter advertisers before allowing them to place ads in your newsletter. If they have used their website URL to send spam, just having their URL appear in your newsletter could cause the entire message to be spammed out.

Words and phrases: Choose your words carefully when crafting a message. Avoid hot button topics often found in spam such as get rich, loans, making money, and pornography. If you do need to use words that might be filtered, dont attempt to obfuscate words with extra characters or odd spelling, you will just make your messages appear more spam like. The autoresponder software I use and some others automatically searches for spam words before you activate the message.

Attachments: With viruses running rampant and spreading through the usage of malicious email attachments many users are wary of attached documents. Its often better to link to files via a website URL to reduce recipient fear of attachments and reduce the overall message size. Some email campaign software provides this as part of the service.

Relationships & White listing: Contact with major ISP’s and email providers is important in letting them know about your requested subscriber email. Many large providers such as AOL and Hotmail have specific white listing programs and postmaster areas to ensure your email is delivered as long as you meet their policies in handling your opt-in list. In some cases like with the company I use this has already been taken care of.

Remember when using autoresponder software email deliver-ability is about ensuring requested opt-in email is delivered to the intended recipient. While no one tip will enable you to get 100% of your email delivered each one utilized as a group can go a long way to reaching that goal.

I want to give you what I consider to be the 11 most important network marketing tips to help insure your success in VMDirect. So below I have 11 network marketing tips that will ensure you enjoy success with your VMDirect business, stay on the road to success and avoid potential pitfalls.

Be prepared for hearing the words “not interested”. Who said that any kind of selling was going to be easy, right? But it all comes down to having the right kind of attitude. If you can understand that someone saying NO to the VMDirect opportunity that you are so excited about is not a rejection of you personally, then you are on your way to success. “Not interested” must be interpreted as “next” and I am that much closer to a yes. This is easier said than done but its the price for wealth in this business.

Be true to yourself. All new M.L.M businesses take time to grow and develop. If you go into VMDirect and raise your expectations to  an unrealistic level you cant reach you will soon become disappointed and frustrated. By the same token I never want to damper a persons excitement if they truly believe that they can achieve high numbers in a short time. Focus on the long term. As I said above building your business takes time and patience. You should commit yourself to at least 3 years before changing your focus. Yes! AT LEAST 3 years. I can assure you the people making it have been there and tried it already. Be a student for your first year. Just listen, learn and apply. After you are more established you can always pick up on your idea and if you still think it is a good one with the knowledge and experience you gained over the year you can put it in place. Being in a new network marketing company is learning enough for anyone, don’t complicate things by trying to do things your way.

Empower your down line immediately. Leveraging other peoples time and skills is the powerful business model that makes VMDirect so profitable. Leading and teaching is an important part of momentum and a strong team but some marketers make the mistake of doing too much for their down line members. This often backfires, however, because the down line members become lazy and depend too much on their up line they develop the work ethic to build their own teams. Avoid doing too much for them, or making them rely on you for every little thing. Whenever possible arrange to talk to a group of people at once rather than focus on talking to everyone individually, which will be very time consuming.  Things to try include doing a live broadcast, doing an email campaign, setting up a toll free number with a recorded message that invites callers to leave their details so that you can return the call. Look for people that have strong desire.  I have made a lot of money in MLM by finding people that are already in business and in need of extra revenue to help with cash flow problems. Create a detailed Business Plan.  As an Online Entrepreneur and business coach I understand the importance of writing goals down as a way of keeping a clear focus. We are more likely to commit to something that is tangible, plus you can hang it up within your sight like on the mirror or computer screen to remind you of what you are working towards when you are in need of an extra push. Every VMDirect business owner should have a goal that is the most important task for the day.
